You all know by now how much I love me some fun, loud, colorful, refreshing burst of wallpaper. My favorite ways to add bold patterned paper in the home is- in the back of a bookcase, inside a glass front cabinet, on an accent wall or ceiling, framed as artwork, or in a nursery, laundry room, linen closet, and/or powder room. If you have a space that is begging for some attention let me know. For now, here are some of my absolute faves!
Family K wanted a sophisticated/elegant/traditional/homey/beachy vibe for their kitchen. Wife K wanted white cabinets but was overruled by hubby K who does most of the cooking. It took a bit of time but we found the perfect wood stain that we all agreed would look gorgeous and would suit their overall vision. To lighten things up a bit, we chose Silestone's "Lyra" for the countertops and a beautiful glass/marble mosaic backsplash. The pendants are a perfect finishing touch with just the right dose of beach!
(Unfortunately, my amateur camera doesn't do the floor justice- it is the perfect greige color!)
